No Guess here, Guess is a solid choice

By Polly Hatfield

Four brothers were determined to live the American dream, and they sure did that. Back in the 1980's these 4 men from Marseille France came to America and started what is known today as the "GUESS" company.

It took them just 4 years, from 1977 when they got their first taste of America, and were living in California. With help from the Nakash family, and some start up cash, the 4 brothers started the Guess company and were well on their way. Of course the denim Giant "Jordache" was owned by the Nakish family and the start up monies and, what I would guess (pardon the pun) insight, really helped GUESS take off and be where it is today.

A disastrous turn almost took place in the early 80's when the News came out about American Based Companies using sweat shops by contractors and sweat factories throughout the world. This became a real hassle for Guess and they dealt with it by monitoring their contractors and the factories where all their products were made, and shipped. This was monitored on almost a daily basis, and by keeping the proper guidelines, Guess continued on, survived the sweat shop years, and are growing even more today.

From sandals and shoes to watches, the Guess company has a great line, not to mention clothes as well. Customer satisfaction is high when it comes to any product that GUESS sells, and you know its a great brand when you can see the GUESS Label.

The 20th anniversary of Guess occurred in the year 2004 and they celebrated with a special watch collection. If you can get your hand on a 2004 GUESS Watch, hold on to them because they did issued a special-edition Guess watch in limited supply.

In any GUESS store in the mall, you can find some cool lines of wallets, and in my opinion, some of the best manufactured wallets around today, especially for the price. Over the years the Guess Wallet has become very popular for both men and woman, as you can see online on the Guess website. The prices are really good too.

With Leather Wallets and Handbags and prices among the $100 to $255 price range, Guess really beats the competition. Looking around, I personally have not found anything higher than $225 for the high end price for a Guess wallet, most will average in the $150 dollar range. If you are in the market for a really good , inexpensive , but not CHEAP wallet, you can find good prices at around $38.00 and these are great designs, and colors and built to last for the price.

Some Guess wallets can hold up to 12 slots for credit cards or store cards and have two bill pockets as well, that zipper close. Finding the right color is never an issue with Guess wallets and they always seem to have the perfect blend of color and design one is looking for.

You really cannot go wrong with a Guess Wallet. Guess Wallets are easily one of my favorite wallets. With cool designs and long term wear and tear because they are so well designed. Plus, the selection is fantastic for just about any man. The more popular designs are wood, ostrich embossed patterns and senile snap (which looks like an old English type of design from the middle ages)

A nice trademark to have is the genuine softness of a wallet, and Guess certainly has that. The wallet is soft to touch, and gels to your pocket really fast, and for the most part, has a low key look, not bulky at all. Last, the feature that is most important is that they last a very long time. You wont have threads coming loose or the insides ripping like in many wallets. Guess wallet is a smart shopping and stylish choice.
