Hives and Angioedema Information

Angioedema and Hives (Urticaria) are incredibly similar on the other hand different ailments. The primary variance among the two conditions is that Angioedema is found mainly in the dermis and subcutaneous muscles. Hives on the other hand is found most often the upper dermis. Angioedema is an afflication that causes quickened swelling of the skin which is noted by the swelling of dermis, subcutaneous tissue, mucosa, and submucosal tissues. In Acquired Angioedema, often times named Quincke Edema, the symptoms generally last for less than a few hours and aren't often threatining to your life. That said, if the swelling (particularly in the throat or airways ) escalates at a very swift pace you should seek attention from a physician. In a case like the Dr. would usually offer an anti-histamine or a shot of epinephrine.

There are many all natural remedies and cures for Angioedema and Hives. This type of Angioedema is known as Hereditary Angioedema and is a genetic problem passed down from generation to generation. Look around your family, if you see others with similar ailments you may have Hereditary or Familial Angioedema. This is very important to discover for the reason that Hereditary Angioedema is a far more serious condition than regular Angioedema which is often called Acquired Angioedema. A medical exam and a blood test can usually detect the scenario.
