A Bouquet of Flowers doesn't Fall Under the "Funny Gifts" Category
It was about a month or two ago I had to pick a gift to give to my mom on her birthday. Unlike the other years before where I'd by a typical bouquet of flowers and a card I wanted to search for funny gifts instead. The problem was I wasn't exactly sure which direction I wanted to head. I sought out advice from my siblings and briefly considered going half on a gift but decidedly really wanted to find one on my own time.
Usually when I would buy her flowers I'd simply stop by a place called Stables Gardens by where I live. It's a nice little place with; a various assortment of plants and flowers for any occasion. Though I know next to nothing when it comes to plants and flowers I could always confidently head to Stables Gardens with the understanding that I would be able to acquire something that's pretty and will take a couple weeks to wilt.
This time though I was on the lookout for something far more unique and original but I start simply by driving out to the mall. After browsing for only minutes I realized that I didn't know my mom as well as I assumed and browsing the mall was actually useless. In the time span of barely 30 minutes I was gone and looking elsewhere for the right gift.
So my next outlet to start perusing was obviously the internet. I had luck picking out gifts for others in recent memory over the World Wide Web so I thought it would be a good place to find humorous gifts or my mom. I was able to recall a website referred to as "I am a stuffed animal" where you can get stuffed animals made in your own image and realized that was the perfect gift idea. I thoroughly scanned the site and chose the absolute best one for her.
Her birthday came and went and my gift was a big success. My mother loved it very much and was happy I put thought and consideration into what I bought for her. If you want to impress your mom you should do the same.
