There is also the ever architecturally brilliant palace called the Chateau de Saint Germain. Inside is a museum with artifacts and remnants from not only the Celtic era but as far back as Paleolithic times too.

The city of Lyon has many sights for you to see on your holidays in France. The numerous elegant designs and architectural wonders on ancient cathedrals and churches will astonish you. Famous ones in the architectural world are St. Bonaventure Church, St. Just Church, Basillique Notre Dame de Fourviere as well as monuments and museums like Gallo-Roman Museum, Cour des Voraces, La Bourse and the Vienna Roman Theater.
