Clear Airport Security With Clear Me ID Cards

By Brent Neenan

After the sickening disasters of 9/11 there was a combined push around the nation to ramp up security. Government departments such as the TSA were created and more rigorous procedures were introduced to keep travelers safe. Unfortunately with greater security came longer lines and a greater headaches; at airport terminals. There came a need to be able to better clear airport security while keeping safety all around.

Launched in 2003 Clear Me was devised to do exactly that; manage airport security while making all the processes more efficient. Soon at participating airports people were able to offer a biometric ID card at certain checkpoints to more quickly clear airport security.

Basically Clear Me doubles as a security feature; not everyone can easily sign up for it. In order to become a member one must supply many piece of information. Once you offer several government IDs, submit to an iris and fingerprint scan and pass a LexisNexis background check you'll be entitled to Clear Me services.

Clear Me however; has been through rough patches before. The company folded a few years after its opening insemination even with 200,000 subscribers. With new investors though; they hope to honor the old memberships as a jump start to getting back on track. It's still a wonder though whether Clear Me will prove to be a success in the future.

Regardless of what the speculators believe though Clear Me is a service that is intended to make traveling easier and more efficient while keeping travelers safe in this crazy world. You can choose to not hop on board and wait on the long lines or you can take control of your life and sign up for Clear Me today. With only an annual fee of around $200 dollars it's easy to see the benefits. Don't be foolish; fly clear with Clear Me now.
