Fly Clear of Airport Security with Clear Me

By Brent Neenan

After the horrific disasters of 9/11 greater security measures were put into place in order to better protect the normal airplane passenger. Regrettably with these extensive security initiatives the endeavor of flying has gotten longer and more tiresome. In order to battle the tedium and fly clear of security the service Clear Me was developed. By presenting a biometric ID card at necessary checkpoints a client can more efficiently pass; through.

Though Clear Me was started in 2003 it went out of business in a matter of years even with 200,000 plus customers. However; it's been picked up again by new investors and is beginning to pop up in airport terminals around the country again. By honoring old memberships; they hope to match and surpass expectations into the future.

Because it's a security concern not everyone can simply sign up and register for it. In order to meet the requirements one must send in several pieces of information. These things include several forms of government, passing a LexisNexis background check and offer a fingerprint and iris scan. Once you qualify and pay the annual fee of 200 dollars you're ready to be on your way.

Once again though because the company has already folded once before; it's still up in the air whether the service will; triumph. By honoring all preceding memberships though; the investors of the company hopes to press on into this century with high flying aspirations toward the future.

Regardless what the future holds for Clear Me services it's apparent that Clear Me serves a dual purpose. It helps to safeguard the integrity of security at airports while creating a way to more systematically run; the security process. Don't be a fool and pretend you enjoy standing in security lines; consider Clear Me so you too can fly clear of the burdensome lines at the airport.
