There has been a lot of talk throughout the IM world about determination. Internet Marketers would like to know how to find their motivation to keep going, even though things have gotten hard. The Internet Marketing arena is full of obstacles and roadblocks that will get in your way as you work and they make it hard to keep going and trying to achieve your goals. So how can you get it done? How do you persist and keep going?

Tap into your persistence. Nearly all of the time, being stubborn is viewed as something that needs to be worked on or rectified. In the IM world, though, when you want to keep your perseverance up, stubbornness can be your most essential asset. Decide to be successful and then simply refuse to quit. This is how you will find the grit to keep going. It will make it easier to get through obstacles. You can decide to just not give up. If you can decide that you are just not going to, say, eat broccoli, you can decide to keep going after success.

Discover a way to harness your inner competitive spirit. Apparently this can only work if you are in reality a competitive individual. If you are competitive by nature, one of the best ways to persevere and forge on when things are difficult is to pick a person who has managed to accomplish the things you wish to accomplish and vow to do those things better than that individual has done them. Try turning your success into a challenge and then do everything you can to be better than the person you would like to emulate. For individuals who are highly competitive this is the easiest way to find their inner perseverance.

Try taking stock of your blessings. Trying to keep going when things are hard or there are a lot of hurdles is one of the hardest things to do when you're working toward IM success. It is not difficult to see all of the negative things as excuses to throw in the towel. When you are feeling bogged down, try finding the things that are working out for you. You may not be pulling in the hundreds and hundreds of dollars that you want to earn each day but you have lots of awesome contacts that you enjoy talking with. The economy might be hurting your sales but perhaps your conversion rate is high which means that your sales copy is effective. Sum up these little things and they can truly help you with your persistence so that achieving your goals is easier.

Don't worry about things that you won't be able to control. Focus on what you are able to control. You have the ability to control the small things. This will give you a sense of accomplishment that will keep you going when you desperately wish you could throw in the towel.

These might appear like unusual ways to forge on. But the truth is that the the Internet marketing world demands a little bit of stubbornness, competition, etc. They unquestionably demand a positive mindset. Have no worries; you'll be able to get the hang of it!
