Happy With My Purchase - Contemporary Black Finish 5-Tier Ladder Book Shelf Review
Bought this for my daughter as a Christmas present, she can't wait for her Birthday to get a matching one. Sure, it's pricier, but probably anything is better than this piece of junk from China. I was looking for a nice shelf to place in my living room for a while, and I lucked out and found the perfect one!
Yes of course but the pieces does not have proper direction for assembly. I wanted to let people know that I noticed some of the letter stickers on the parts of the shelf did not line up with the assembly instructions. Not the highest of quality, but for the price, it's about what I was expecting. I bought the shelf for my home office and honestly it leaves a lot to be desired. I put two together all by myself (45 year old female), with ease. Hard to get out. Definitely helps me make best use of my small apartment.
Also the bottom leg will not stay on even after it has been locked in place.If you like to jimmy rig things together this book shelf is for you! Its also very easy to assemble. You probably can find something better. I would recommend it to anyone.
Were it not for that, I would easily give it 5 stars. The instructions say you need two people to assemble it, but I was able to do it by myself (albeit with some occasional creative language). The book shelf wasn't too hard to put together. Delivered on time and in good shape, was just what it looked like in the picture and very easy to assemble Great Item!
We investigated all options and several merchants, we found quality the same at all places, the price was such a big difference we hope people check out Amazon before they purchase. Very easy to put together and looks nice. The directions says that you need two people to put it together but I put it together in about 1 hour by my self. We didn't want a normal bookshelf, so I thought this would be great. I ordered the shelves but didn't realize that I wouldn't like them in black.
I have been impressed with her selection...really adds to our new family room I have been looking for a ladder bookcase for about 6 months now, and I was constantly surprised by how expensive they are. This is an OK item. Went together very well.
