While you work to reach a goal know the next goal

Your goal in life must not be to become wealthy. You might want to become a scientist and research to find a certain knowledge that is of general advantage. You might find fulfillment in becoming a priest or a rabbi or you might want to work in the nature or with animals. You might wish to have a large family and spend all time after work with them. Whatever it is what will make you happy, differs from person to person.

You might have planned your life insofar that you chose a certain profession in which you find your fulfillment, and you might get old without having married. You might think back and ask yourself, why you did not marry. Another person might have married and from one day to the other left his family to start a very different kind of life. The reason that something like this happens is that we are never absolutely fulfilled. We always want more of something which we don't have. We always find new goals and new wishes. It is the moment when we do not have a goal, we are unhappy. We always need something specific to look forward. No goal and no path to rich it, makes us feel empty. If you keep having goals, you will always feel happiness.

A proverb says: The path is the goal. While you worked to pursue a goal, you have been filled with pleasant anticipation, whereby pleasant anticipation is an ingredient which helps you to reach your goal. But the moment you have reached that goal, there is no reason to feel this pleasant anticipation anymore. Especially when someone had a very big and very challenging goal, he might not be prepared to think of a new one early enough and he feels empty the same day he has reached his big goal.

It is a great advice to have a number of goals in all areas of your life. You might choose several goals and make a plan about how to reach them. Always have new goals in mind, even though you focus on one goal, which you want to reach next. To always be challenged means to be happy and successful.

It can happen that as you are on the way to reach one goal, that you are losing your interest. In such a time you need some time out. Allow yourself to leave everything. You have a long term plan, which you have split into a number of goals. After you took off from pursuing your next goals and you feel that your interest to reach them did not come back, you have to think about a new big goal. If you do not have a goal, which you pursue to achieve, you feel unhappy. No one can live on an island and do nothing for a long time. You will always find something with what you will be occupied. Let us assume you go to an island, where you do nothing, you will quite surely get an idea of what you will do next. In moments when you do nothing, you get the best ideas. You might say that you did not think of anything specific, when you got this great idea. But it is not that you did not think of anything specific, it is that you have not been aware of your thoughts.

You have a list of goals and have chosen which ones you want to reach first. It is a great help if you use mind movies to reach them. In a mind movie you choose images that represent these goals and you watch your mind movie twice daily or even more often. You can also listen to subliminals that might help you to get your subconscious mind in line with the goals you set consciously.

You can also make a vision board with images you find in magazines or brochures, which you fix on a pin board or a picture frame. Put this vision board somewhere where you see it often. It is a command given to your subconscious mind which will support you to reach the goals for which you have found images that represent them. Have several goals at all time, plan to reach them and feel the joy while you are on the way to the next destination.
